... Just back from a trip to Alaska with the Zi6. Great video when used right.
This little camera loves light and loves being held still. Depart of either of these and your video will be less than stellar.
Pros: small, light, takes AA batteries (lithium batteries work great), uses SD cards. Great vids when used in the right environment.
Cons: Doesn't like to be moved (panning or just your hand shaking). Doesn't like anything less than bright light. Indoor shots will be grainy. Mic doesn't work that great.
Bottom line: nice to have
As an aside; Amazon listed as new but sent me a refurb. Refused to make it right. They've lost a customer for life, and they don't care. ...
